"The ocean that walked away" is a fictional novel aimed at new adults and up. It is a crime/suspense novel. It explores the question: What happens in the village at the foot of a suicide cliff when the body of a local girl is found?
Three bodies are found on the cliff, and we walk in the footsteps of Davey, who fears that Mona jumped because of him. He starts asking questions and unravels every little secret in the seaside village, while coping with the disappearance of his father, his absent mother, his grief and every strange character he comes across.
Be aware that the novel has content of a sexual and violent nature.
Lene Guldborg has a law degree from the University of Copenhagen, but writes novels in her spare time, and is currently attending creative writing summer classes at the University of Oxford. She has given up on finding an agent for this title, which has received numerous positive reviews from its readers.
