Is there something you would like to do but feel you don't have enough time or strength of will to achieve? Do you feel like you are in a constant battle with your procrastination?

If you answered any of these questions with a yes, The Effortless Perseverance Game Journal is here to help you. In this unique and gameful journal, an avid life gamer with over a decade of experience of living gamefully, Victoria Ichizli-Bartels introduces a fun game that makes perseverance feel effortless, joyful, and even fun. Instead of fighting procrastination, you invite it to a weekly round of a fun game, in which you make progress with the project or activity you want to succeed with.

The Effortless Perseverance Game Journal provides space for 52 weekly rounds of the game, each beginning with an inspiring quote and featuring two dedicated pages. One page contains the leaderboard to record the points the persevering and procrastinating parts of you earn during the game, as well as the progress you make in the project you take into this game. The second page offers you space to reflect on your experiences while playing the game and to consider any changes you want to make to the game's design for the next weekly round.

The sections at the beginning of this journal introduce the Gameful Journals Series, this journal, the rules of the Effortless Perseverance Game, and provide you with thoughts and tips from Victoria's decade-plus experience of playing this game, as well as questions and ideas for reflections and notes.

Don't wait any longer, open this journal and invite your procrastination to a fun game, where you not only persevere effortlessly but also enjoy your real-life activities, as well as witness and measure your success in them.

Victoria Ichizli-Bartels

Victoria Ichizli-Bartels is a writer, coach, and consultant with a background in semiconductor physics, electronic engineering (PhD), information technology, and business development.
While not a traditional gamer, Victoria coined the term "self-gamification," a gameful and playful approach to self-care and self-help that combines anthropology, kaizen, and gamification-based methods to enhance quality of life.
She approaches all areas of her life this way. Because of the fun she has turning everything in her life into games, Victoria intends never to stop designing, developing, and playing them. Inspired by a friend's tip, she now likes to call everyone who approaches their life gamefully, including herself, a "life-gamer."
With over a decade of experience living gamefully, Victoria is the author of more than 10 books and the instructor of 2 online courses on turning life into fun games and on perceiving it as the best collection of games we design, develop, and play.
Victoria grew up in Moldova and has lived in Germany for twelve years. Since 2008, she has lived in Aalborg, Denmark, with her husband and two children.
